ABOUT US
PAST SHOWS
The Bovingdon Players is a local amateur theatre group based in the Bovingdon Memorial Hall since 1921. Take a look at our list of past productions and you will see everything from panto to Shakespeare, via comedy, mystery and the odd musical. We have competed in festival competitions, winning numerous prizes over the years, and kept our audiences entertained thanks to the dedicated and talented members drawn from the village and the local area.
We usually aim to put on two full length productions a year plus the occasional evening of audience-participation murder mystery and local events.
We are always looking out for new members to join the group, so we would love to hear from anyone who fancies trying their hand at anything from acting to creating amazing sets, making costumes or props, devising special effects or just making sure our audiences are well-looked after.
